To start the process I used programs mainly based on the computer. I started to do research using IMDB, I chose to do this as it has a wide amount of films and different genres. I found IMDB to be very useful in my research into the genre of my film and find similar films to it. To gather all this information into a useful place I used blogger and posted my findings as a blog. Blogger was useful as it allowed me to store my work in one place and they were easy to find.
To plan our film, I mainly used Microsoft Word. This made my planning easier due to this allowed me to copy and paste key information and also pictures. I also used Celtex to write the script for the film. It allowed me to add dialogue, characters, and actions so that it was clear to follow through filming, what was to happen. Celtex was a useful because it made the script look like a real script, which helped our film look more professional.
Editing our film we used Premier pro, this allowed us to add effects, non-diegetic music, and trim our clips down, to ensure our film looked professional. When we were using premier pro we used a number of different tools within the program which allowed our continuity to be more accurate and make edits like a match on action follow through swiftly instead of jumping around.
